Tsavo East and Tsavo West safari from Mombasa/Diani/Ukunda Tour itinerary

Day 1: Begin Tsavo Safari from Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park

Leave your Mombasa or Malindi hotel very early in the morning for Tsavo East National Park driving along the Nairobi - Mombasa road.
Enter the park through Bachuma gate and begin safari game drive looking out for wildlife and bird species before driving to your pre-booked Safari lodge or camp in Tsavo East National Park for Lunch with game drive en-route.
Afternoon safari game drive in Tsavo East National Park until 1800.
Dinner and Overnight at your safari lodge or camp.

Day 2: Leave Tsavo East National with Safari Game drive for Tsavo West National Park

Wake up to an early morning game drive in Tsavo East National Park. Then after breakfast enjoy a mid morning safari game drive in Tsavo East National Park then exit the park and drive to Tsavo West National Park, safari game drive en-route to your pre-booked safari camp or lodge in Tsavo West National Park for check in and lunch.
Afternoon game drive in Tsavo West National Park with a visit to Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary.
Dinner and overnight at your Safari Camp or Lodge.

Day 3: Safari in Tsavo West National Park then depart for Mombasa

Early morning breakfast then then check-out of the lodge/camp to embark on a morning safari game drive with a visit to Mzima springs where Hippos, Crocodiles, different species of fish can be seen in crystal clear water from an underground observatory tank. Proceed with safari game drive visiting the Shetani lava flow where you will be able to see the Africa's highest snow capped Mount Kilimanjaro from a distance. Game viewing as you drive out of Tsavo West National park and back to Mombasa/Diani with lunch had en-route at Voi Town

After finding P D tours online and finally opting to go with them we were not left disappointed! We enjoyed an unforgettable 3 day safari, and saw the amazing wild-life up close. This included elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, leopards and so much more.

2 of us booked Patrick for a 2 night and 3 day trip including Tsavo East and Salt Lick. Patrick was professional and courteous and we could not find any fault from our initial communications to the execution of our agreement. Highly recommended.

Another great trip

Finally got around to writing a review of my 2 night, 3 day safari at Tsavo East with Patrick. If you want a calm, safe, friendly, happy driver, then Patrick is your man. I first met him last year through another tour company and enjoyed it so much I booked direct with him this time round. Nothing was too much trouble, the price was what he said it would be (plus a card handling charge) and gave me copies of all his licences and insurance certificates when I asked. I stayed at Ashnil Aruba Lodge both nights having stayed there last year (and Voi Safari Lodge on my first trip, Ashnil by far is the best) I had a great time and saw an amazing 26 lionesses & lions and 549 elephants (didn't beat my total of 926 from last year) and a couple of cheetah, plus all the normal game. One thing I will say of Patrick is he follows the rules. In Tsavo you are not allowed to drive off road and if caught the drivers loose their licence and livelihood, this didn't stop many drivers and I was amazed at how many went 'off road' looking for lions and also didn't respect the rules and went too close off road for a photo, scaring the animals off and thus the enjoyment of others. I experienced this last year and understand that some unscrupulous drivers will do this for money (I'm not encouraging you to do this in any way, shape or form - quite the opposite) If you are someone who understands that we are in their home, respect them and be in awe of the nature around you, to take time to watch and observe and most of all savour every moment, then Patrick is the guide for you. Don't get me wrong if you want him to rush around just looking for lions, then he will accommodate you but he and you will get the greatest pleasure in enjoying the African wildlife around you. I have no hesitation in recommending him and would use him again in an instant. Oh, and his van is in much better condition than a number of others I saw in use. *** Stand up whilst going around the park, you will see and spot so much more this way ***.

Fantastic Safari to Tsavo East an a Tsavo West! 

Fantastic Safari to Tsavo East and Tsavo West. We saw a lot of different animals, well spotted by Patrick, We arranged to meet Patrick at our hotel to arrange a 3 day Safari, all inclusive. We found Patrick to be a Fantastic guide in all aspects, friendly, trustworthy and knowledgeable about wildlife. Patrick ensured that we had a wonderful Safari, which fulfilled all our expectations and more. The Taylor family, Denmark and England.
