Day 1: Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive North past tea, coffee and pineapple plantations for Samburu National Reserve. Upon arrival begin game viewing en-route to your pre-booked safari camp or lodge in Samburu National Reserve for check-in, lunch and short rest. Afternoon safari game drive in Samburu National Reserve hoping to see it's unique resident wildlife species like the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx and the Blue legged Somali Ostrich among other animals and bird species. Dinner and overnight at your pre-booked safari camp or lodge in Samburu National Reserve.
Day 2: Samburu - Aberdares National Park
Early morning game drive in Samburu National Reserve. Leave Samburu for Aberdares National Park arriving with a short game drive in time for lunch at a base hotel in Nyeri in the afternoon you will check in at The Ark Hotel for night game viewing, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Aberdare - Lake Nakuru National Park
Depart Aberdares National Park and drive past Nyahururu and the Thompson falls (where you will have picnic lunch) through the Great Rift Valley, with stopovers to enjoy the scenery, to arrive in Lake Nakuru National Park for the afternoon game drive in the Park hoping to spot its birds and wildlife. Dinner and overnight at your pre-booked safari camp or lodge in Lake Nakuru National Park
Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park - Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast depart from Lake Nakuru national park and with game viewing en-route drive to Masai Mara national reserve. You will arrive in time for lunch at your pre-booked Masai Mara safari lodge, short rest followed by an afternoon game drive to explore one of the most popular game reserves in Kenya - The Masai Mara home to Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and other plains game and bird species. Return to your pre-booked Masai Mara safari lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 5: Masai Mara National Reserve
This day of your safari in the Masai Mara will begin early in the morning with game viewing, return to lodge for breakfast, venture out to explore the Mara even more, lunch, short afternoon rest then afternoon game driver. Dinner and overnight at your safari lodge in the Mara. Optional activities on this day - early morning balloon safari, visit to an authentic Masai Village. Dinner and overnight at your Safari accommodation in the Masai Mara
Day 6: Masai Mara - Nairobi
Early morning breakfast then check out of your safari lodge/camp and with an exit game viewing drive return to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon.

Great 5-day safari with PD Tours
Great experience of using PD Tours. From booking and arranging a bespoke 5-day safari with Patrick, to the actual trip itself, it was a smooth customer experience and a great trip. Patrick is very easy to deal with and promptly answered all our questions by email in advance. We settled on a 5-day tour taking in Tsavo West, Amboseli, Lake Naivasha and Masai Mara. It was a lot of travelling but was a great experience. Sammy was our guide and driver and we became good friends. Overall Patrick and Sammy are a great team - honest and easy to deal with. Sammy even went beyond the call of duty to arrange a few small things along the way such as popping into town to buy an SD card one evening. Highly recommended.
