Day 1: Nairobi – Aberdares
You will depart Nairobi in the morning to cross the Kenyan Highlands, through pineapple and coffee plantations. You will pass through the industrial town of Thika and the intensely cultivated farms of the central Kenya. Arrive in time for lunch at Aberdare Country Club. Afternoon transfer into Aberdare National Park and on to The Ark Lodge for bird watching and overnight floodlit game viewing from the lodge viewing decks. Dinner and overnight at The Ark Lodge or Treetops Lodge.
Day 2: Aberdare - Lake Nakuru National Park
Depart Aberdares National Park and drive past Nyahururu and the Thompson falls (where you will have picnic lunch) through the Great Rift Valley, with stopovers to enjoy the scenery, to arrive in Lake Nakuru National Park for the afternoon game drive in the Park hoping to spot its birds and wildlife. Dinner and overnight at your pre-booked safari camp or lodge in Lake Nakuru National Park
Day 2: Lake Nakuru National Park - Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast depart from Lake Nakuru national park and with game viewing en-route drive to Masai Mara national reserve. You will arrive in time for lunch at your pre-booked Masai Mara safari lodge, short rest followed by an afternoon game drive to explore one of the most popular game reserves in Kenya - The Masai Mara home to Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and other plains game and bird species. Day 3: Masai Mara National Reserve
This day of your safari in the Masai Mara will begin early in the morning with game viewing, return to lodge for breakfast, venture out to explore the Mara even more, lunch, short afternoon rest then afternoon game driver. Dinner and overnight at your safari lodge in the Mara.
