Join us on this extended safari to Kenya's Tsavo and Amboseli National Parks. Tsavo is one of Kenya's largest national parks with an area of approximately 22,000 square kilometers. It is home to a diverse range of animals, including the famous red elephants, lions, zebras, and giraffes. The Nairobi-Mombasa highway divides the park into two parts, with Tsavo East on the eastern side and Tsavo West on the western side. The two parks provide distinct experiences for tourists, with Tsavo East having more open grassland and Tsavo West being more rugged and forested. Our knowledgeable guides ensure that you do not miss any of the parks' incredible wildlife and scenic attractions.
A must-see sight in Tsavo West is the Mzima Springs, where you may see hippos and crocodiles. Additionally, Tsavo West is known for its volcanic origin. A stop at Shetani Lava flows will leave you speechless. The relics of volcanic eruptions are an eight-kilometer-long, 1.6-kilometer-wide, and five-meter-deep black lava flow. They were the topic of legends among local people, who named the flow "shetani," which translates to "evil" in Kiswahili after it erupted from the earth when it was only 240 years old. Climbing the flow is difficult since the thick, black rocks are made up of irregular chunks of solid magma.
Amboseli National Park is a nature lover's heaven. Its panoramic views are astounding, and it's no surprise that it is Kenya's second most popular tourist destination. The park borders Tanzania and lies southwest of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, providing an amazing backdrop during your game drive. The park is well-known for its big elephant population, and it is likely the best spot in Africa to witness these gentle giants up close and personal. Other wildlife in the park include zebras, giraffes, impalas, ostriches, lions, cheetahs, buffalos, warthogs, and over 400 bird species.

Day 1 - Mombasa - Tsavo East National Park
To make the most of it, it's essential to start early. The day begins with an early morning hotel pick-up. We leave the bustling city of Mombasa on the highway to Tsavo East.
We arrive at the national park in time for your morning game drive and ensure that you have ample time to fully immerse yourself in the wilderness as you navigate through the park in search of the Big Five and other fascinating animals and birds. Our knowledgeable guide provides insightful information about the flora and fauna, adding depth to your safari experience.
The game drive continues until lunchtime. We check in at the pre-booked safari lodge and indulge in a delicious meal. Enjoy the picturesque environment and recharge for your afternoon game drive.
After an exciting day in the bush, we return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight rest. You can reflect on the day and cherish those memories that will last a lifetime.
Day 2 - Tsavo East - Amboseli National Park
Another exciting day is waiting for you. After breakfast at the lodge, we check out and get ready to continue our journey to Amboseli National Park. We embark on a short morning game drive hoping to see the Big Five once more as we exit Tsavo East.
From the serene beauty of Tsavo East to the iconic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli, every moment of this safari is filled with wonder and awe. We reach Amboseli just in time for lunch at your pre-booked lodge or camp.
With energy replenished, the adventure continues as you set off on another game drive in the afternoon in search of elephants, zebras, lions, buffalos, birds and breathtaking landscapes.
We return to the lodge or camp in the evening for dinner and overnight rest.
You also have the opportunity to explore local culture by visiting a Maasai village nearby. Please ask your driver guide for further details.
Day 3 - Amboseli National Park - Tsavo West
Day three in the bush is as amazing as the previous days. We start early and enjoy breakfast before checking out of our accommodation. On our morning game drive we search again for your favorite animals and head to Tsavo West. Our first stop will be at Mzima Springs where you can observe hippos and crocodiles.
By lunchtime, your senses will be filled with the sights and sounds of the wilderness, and you will be ready to enjoy a well-deserved break and reflect upon the incredible moments yo have experienced so far. We check in at our pre-booked accommodation and enjoy a delicious lunch.
In the afternoon, we continue our adventure and drive to Rhino Sanctuary where you can spot black rhinos. After a fun filled day, we return to the accommodation for dinner and rest.
Day 4 - Tsavo West National Park - Mombasa
It's time to say goodbye to the African bush. We enjoy a last breakfast in the tranquility of the savannah and listen to the sounds of nature. After breakfast we check out of our accommodation and embark on a short game drive before exiting the park. We drive back on the Nairobi-Mombasa highway and reach your hotel by lunchtime.
